Refund and Returns Policy

This policy explains how refunds, cancellations and revisions are handled for StratoWrite digital downloads and Custom Business Plans.
Our aim is to make our refund terms clear before you purchase while ensuring that all statutory consumer rights remain protected.
1. Digital Downloads – Ready-Made Business Plans
StratoWrite Ready-Made Business Plans are digital products supplied electronically and are normally available for download immediately after checkout.
Access to the purchased file is provided as part of the order confirmation process and may also be sent to the email address provided during checkout.
Because paid digital content is supplied immediately, we do not provide change-of-mind refunds once supply of the download has begun, provided the required consent and acknowledgement relating to immediate digital supply have been obtained.
Before purchasing, please read the product description carefully to make sure the Ready-Made Business Plan is appropriate for the type of business you are considering.

2. Your Rights When Purchasing Digital Content
Nothing in this policy removes or limits statutory rights that apply to paid digital content.
If a paid digital product is faulty, materially not as described, cannot be accessed because of a problem with the file supplied by StratoWrite, or otherwise does not meet applicable legal requirements, please contact us.
We will review the problem and provide an appropriate remedy where required, which may include supplying a corrected or replacement file or providing a refund or price reduction where applicable.
A change of mind, deciding not to start the business or deciding that you no longer need the downloaded plan does not by itself mean that the digital product is faulty.
3. Problems Accessing a Download
If you have paid for a Ready-Made Business Plan but cannot access or open the file, contact us at info@stratowrite.co.uk.
We will make reasonable efforts to resolve the problem and provide access to the product you purchased.
Please include your name, order details and the email address used during checkout so that we can locate your purchase.
4. Free Specialist Info Packs
StratoWrite Specialist Info Packs are currently provided free of charge.
Because no payment is taken for a free Info Pack, there is no purchase price to refund.
If you experience a technical problem accessing a free download, contact us and we will make reasonable efforts to help you access the file.
5. Custom Business Plans
Custom Business Plans are created specifically around the information and requirements agreed between you and StratoWrite.
Submitting a Custom Business Plan Request Form is free and does not create an obligation to purchase.
After reviewing your requirements, StratoWrite will provide a fixed quote and expected delivery timescale. You can then decide whether you wish to proceed.
Payment must be received before work on the Custom Business Plan begins.
6. Cancelling a Custom Business Plan Before Completion
Where statutory cancellation rights apply, the cancellation period for a Custom Business Plan service generally begins when the service contract is entered into.
If you ask StratoWrite to begin work during an applicable statutory cancellation period, we may require your express request before beginning the service.
If you then exercise a valid statutory cancellation right after work has started, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for work already completed where permitted by law.
Where the service has been fully performed during the cancellation period following any request and acknowledgement required by law, the statutory cancellation right may end.
These statutory cancellation rights are separate from the StratoWrite Satisfaction Guarantee described below.
7. Custom Business Plan Satisfaction Guarantee
Every completed Custom Business Plan is covered by the StratoWrite Satisfaction Guarantee.
If you believe your completed plan does not meet the requirements agreed in your original brief, contact us within 14 days of receiving your completed plan.
We will work with you to address your concerns and provide up to three revision rounds at no additional charge.
A revision round means a set of requested amendments submitted together for StratoWrite to review and complete.
The purpose of the revision process is to bring the completed plan into line with the information, requirements and scope originally agreed for the project.
8. What the Included Revisions Cover
The three included revision rounds can be used to request reasonable amendments relating to the original agreed brief.
For example, revisions may be used to:
- Correct information that has been interpreted incorrectly
- Clarify or improve sections of the plan
- Adjust wording or presentation
- Correct reasonable issues within research, figures or calculations
- Address relevant information that was included in the original brief but has not been properly reflected in the completed plan
9. Changes Outside the Original Brief
The included revisions are based on the information and requirements supplied when the Custom Business Plan was commissioned.
They do not cover creating a substantially different business plan because you later decide to change the original business concept or key information.
Examples of substantial changes may include:
- Changing to a different business idea
- Changing the main products or services being offered
- Changing the business model substantially
- Changing the principal target market
- Changing the main operating location where this materially affects the plan
- Introducing substantially different financial assumptions or budgets that were not part of the original brief
- Requesting major new sections or work that was not included in the agreed scope
If you require substantial changes outside the original agreed brief, we will explain this before carrying out additional work and may provide a separate quote and revised delivery timescale.
No additional charge will be made without your agreement.
10. Full Refund Under the Satisfaction Guarantee
Our aim is to resolve genuine concerns through the included revision process.
If, after the included revision process, StratoWrite is unable to bring your Custom Business Plan into line with the requirements of the original agreed brief, we will provide a full refund of the amount paid for the Custom Business Plan.
This gives you the reassurance of our Satisfaction Guarantee while ensuring that revisions and refund requests are assessed against the business plan that was originally commissioned.
11. When the Satisfaction Guarantee Does Not Apply
The Satisfaction Guarantee does not provide a refund solely because:
- You change your mind about starting the business
- You change the business idea or agreed brief after the plan has been created
- You decide to use a different business model, location, product or service
- You do not obtain funding, finance or investment
- A bank, lender, investor, grant provider or other third party makes an unfavourable decision
- Your business does not achieve a particular level of sales, profit or growth
- Market conditions or other circumstances change after the plan has been prepared
- You request additional work that falls outside the original agreed scope
These exclusions relate to our additional Satisfaction Guarantee only and do not remove any statutory rights or remedies that may apply where the service itself does not meet applicable legal requirements.
12. How to Request Revisions or a Refund

Please provide your name, order or project details and a clear explanation of the issue.
For Custom Business Plan revision requests, please provide the changes you would like us to review as clearly as possible so that they can be addressed together as a revision round.
13. How Approved Refunds Are Made
Where a refund is due, it will normally be returned using the original payment method unless another method is required or agreed.
We will process refunds within any applicable legal timeframe. The time taken for the funds to appear in your account after processing may depend on your bank or payment provider.
14. Statutory Rights
Nothing in this Refund and Returns Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or replace rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Where you purchase from StratoWrite as a consumer, applicable UK consumer law may provide additional rights relating to digital content and services.
Our Satisfaction Guarantee is an additional StratoWrite commitment and operates alongside any statutory rights that apply.
