Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 13 August 2026

These Terms & Conditions explain the terms that apply when you use the StratoWrite website, purchase or download a StratoWrite product, request a Custom Business Plan or use our services.

Please read them carefully before making a purchase or accepting a Custom Business Plan quote.

1. About StratoWrite

StratoWrite provides Custom Business Plans, Ready-Made Business Plans, Specialist Info Packs and related startup information and resources.

2. Using the StratoWrite Website

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase paid StratoWrite products or services.

You agree not to misuse the website, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, introduce malicious software, interfere with its operation or use its content for unlawful purposes.

We may update, change or temporarily withdraw parts of the website where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, updates or improvements.

3. Our Products and Services

StratoWrite currently provides:

  • Custom Business Plans created around an agreed customer brief
  • Ready-Made Business Plans for specific UK business ideas
  • Specialist Info Packs covering business and startup topics
  • Business information, guidance and resources available through the StratoWrite website

Product descriptions explain what is included before you purchase or request a service. Please read the relevant description carefully and contact us if you have a question before proceeding.

4. Custom Business Plan Requests and Quotes

Submitting the StratoWrite Custom Business Plan Request Form is free and does not create an obligation to purchase a plan.

After receiving your form, we will review the information provided and may contact you by email if anything needs clarification.

We will then provide you with a fixed quote and expected delivery timescale based on the requirements and complexity of your plan.

You can decide whether you wish to proceed after receiving the quote. No payment is required unless you accept it.

If you accept the quote, payment must be received before work on the Custom Business Plan begins.

5. Custom Business Plan Brief

Your Custom Business Plan will be created using the information supplied in your original request form together with any additional information or clarification agreed before work begins.

You are responsible for providing information that is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.

The agreed quote and delivery timescale are based on that information.

If you request a substantial change after work has begun – for example changing the business concept, location, principal products or services, target market, business model or another major part of the original brief – this may fall outside the agreed service.

Where additional work is required because the brief has materially changed, we will explain this before carrying out the additional work and, where appropriate, provide a revised quote or timescale. We will not charge for additional work without your agreement.

6. Custom Business Plan Delivery

The expected delivery time for a Custom Business Plan depends on its requirements and complexity.

Your expected delivery timescale will be confirmed alongside your fixed quote before you decide whether to proceed.

We will make reasonable efforts to deliver your completed plan within the agreed timescale. If an unexpected issue is likely to cause a significant delay, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.

Delivery will normally be made electronically to the email address provided by you.

7. Custom Plan Revisions and Satisfaction Guarantee

Custom Business Plans are covered by the StratoWrite Satisfaction Guarantee.

If you believe your completed plan does not meet the requirements agreed in your original brief, contact us within 14 days of receiving the completed plan.

We provide up to three revision rounds at no additional charge to address reasonable amendments that relate to the original information and requirements agreed for the plan.

A revision round means a set of requested changes submitted together for us to review and complete.

The included revisions do not cover creating a substantially different business plan or making major changes to the business concept or other information supplied after the original brief was agreed.

If, after the included revision process, we are unable to bring the plan into line with the original agreed requirements, we will provide a full refund under our Satisfaction Guarantee.

The Satisfaction Guarantee does not provide a refund solely because you later change your business idea, decide not to start the business, do not obtain funding, receive an unfavourable decision from a third party or do not achieve a particular commercial result.

Nothing in our Satisfaction Guarantee limits or removes any statutory rights that apply to you.

Full details are available on our Satisfaction Guarantee and Refund and Returns Policy pages.

8. Ready-Made Business Plans

Ready-Made Business Plans are pre-written digital products created around specific business ideas and are not individually tailored to the circumstances of each purchaser.

They provide a detailed starting framework, research, financial information and step-by-step guidance for the business described in the product listing.

You are responsible for considering how the information applies to your own location, circumstances, finances and business decisions and for making any adjustments required for your own business.

9. Digital Downloads

Ready-Made Business Plans and Specialist Info Packs are supplied as digital downloads.

Digital products are normally made available immediately after checkout, with access also provided through the order confirmation process.

For paid digital content supplied immediately, where UK consumer cancellation rights apply, we will obtain the required consent to begin supplying the digital content during the cancellation period and acknowledgement that the statutory cancellation right will be lost once supply begins.

Once paid digital content has been supplied in accordance with those requirements, we do not provide refunds simply because you change your mind or later decide that you no longer require the product.

This does not affect any statutory rights or remedies you may have if paid digital content is faulty, materially not as described or otherwise does not meet the standards required by applicable consumer law.

10. Free Specialist Info Packs

Some Specialist Info Packs are provided free of charge.

As no payment is taken for a free download, there is no purchase price to refund. If you experience a technical problem accessing a free file, contact us and we will make reasonable efforts to help you access it.

11. Prices and Payment

Prices are displayed in pounds sterling (£) unless stated otherwise.

The price payable for a Ready-Made Business Plan or other paid digital product is the price shown during checkout at the time you place the order.

Custom Business Plans are individually quoted. The price you are required to pay will be confirmed before you decide whether to proceed.

Payments are processed through the payment methods made available by StratoWrite. Payment information may be processed by our payment service providers in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies.

12. Information, Forecasts and Business Decisions

StratoWrite plans and resources are designed to provide structured business planning, research, financial forecasting and practical guidance.

Financial forecasts, market estimates, startup costs, pricing examples and other projections are based on information and assumptions available when the relevant material is prepared. Actual results will vary according to your circumstances, decisions and market conditions.

StratoWrite does not guarantee business success, profitability, funding approval, investment, sales levels or any other particular commercial outcome.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, information provided by StratoWrite is general business information and does not constitute regulated financial advice, legal advice, tax advice or professional accounting advice.

Where professional advice is required for your individual circumstances, you should obtain it from an appropriately qualified professional.

13. Third-Party Services and Links

StratoWrite plans, Info Packs and website content may contain links to government services, funding organisations, software providers, professional services and other external organisations.

Some links may be partner or affiliate links, which means StratoWrite may receive a commission if you choose to make a purchase or take another qualifying action through the link, at no additional cost to you.

External organisations operate independently from StratoWrite. We are not responsible for their websites, products, services, availability, decisions, prices or terms.

You should review the terms and information supplied by the relevant third party before entering into an agreement with them.

14. Intellectual Property and Permitted Use

StratoWrite business plans, Info Packs, written content, layouts, branding and other original materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

When you purchase a StratoWrite plan, you are granted permission to use it for your own personal or business planning purposes.

You may share relevant parts or copies of your plan where reasonably necessary for your own business purposes, including with professional advisers, potential lenders, funding organisations or investors.

You may not resell, commercially redistribute, publish, reproduce for sale, upload for public access or use a StratoWrite plan or Info Pack to create competing products or services without our written permission.

Information and materials that you provide to StratoWrite for the preparation of your Custom Business Plan remain yours. You give us permission to use that information as necessary to review your request and prepare and support your plan.

15. Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information when requesting a Custom Business Plan
  • Checking product descriptions before purchasing digital content
  • Reviewing your completed plan and raising revision requests within the stated guarantee period
  • Checking current legal, tax, licensing, regulatory and other official requirements relevant to your own business
  • Making your own final business and financial decisions
  • Keeping purchased digital files reasonably secure and not distributing them in breach of these Terms

16. Statutory Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or replace any statutory rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Where you purchase from StratoWrite as a consumer, your rights may include protections relating to services and paid digital content under applicable UK consumer law.

Further information about cancellations and refunds is provided in our Refund and Returns Policy.

17. Custom Plan Cancellation Before Completion

Where statutory cancellation rights apply to a Custom Business Plan service, the cancellation period generally begins when the service contract is entered into.

If you ask us to begin work during a statutory cancellation period, we may require your express request before work begins. If you subsequently exercise a valid cancellation right after work has started, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for work already supplied where permitted by law.

Where the service has been fully performed during the cancellation period following the required request and acknowledgement, the statutory cancellation right may end.

These statutory cancellation provisions are separate from the additional StratoWrite Satisfaction Guarantee that applies after delivery of a completed Custom Business Plan.

18. Our Responsibility

We are responsible for providing our paid products and services in accordance with the applicable contract and legal standards.

We are not responsible for losses caused solely by circumstances outside our reasonable control, decisions made independently by third parties, or business outcomes that depend on your own actions, market conditions or other external factors.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.

19. Privacy and Personal Information

Personal information provided to StratoWrite is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Please read that policy for information about what personal information we collect, how it is used, how long it may be retained and your data protection rights.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions when our products, services, website, business practices or legal obligations change.

Any changes will apply from the date the updated Terms are published. Changes will not retrospectively remove rights or alter an existing contract where doing so would be unlawful.

The latest version will be available on the StratoWrite website with the most recent update date shown at the top.

21. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Nothing in this section removes any mandatory rights or protections available to you under the law that applies to you as a consumer.
